Seminar Information

You are invited to our event Internet of Things - Dream of Billion $ by Connecting.

What we'll do
Internet of Things – A buzz word that is applied by the kids toy manufacturer to Microsoft; iPad producer to IBM. It’s the magic wand that has attracted Billions from Venture capitalist, Giants like CISCO has been lured to buy tech startups at incredible valuation with complex formulas resulting in exponential sums.

Organisations with broader and long term visions drive data centric business models. With data, commodities become service driven. An example of this would be, organisations that used to sell energy saving products, are changing their business models to be profit sharing by being data driven.

In this session, speaker intends to share the fundamentals of IOT and some case sharings of how an IOT project differs from a regular project, what are organisations looking to get out of an IOT project & importantly how a business analyst ( iot project ) differs from a system analyst ( traditional project ). We will exchange our thoughts on projects ranging from sensors to biometrics covering manufacturing, construction, retail & of course the aspirations of most cities to be SMART CITY.
